Stress and Hair Loss (cont)

Make sure that you get adequate sleep. While you are sleeping is when the body regenerates and rebuilds itself from the destruction of daily life. Thus, getting adequate sleeping time, as well as quality sleeping time, is important. On a side note to this, make sure that the period when you are lying in bed waiting for sleep to come is not filled with stressful and negative thoughts.

Make time in your life to enjoy yourself. Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in work and other commitments, but to alleviate stress it’s important to have ‘down time’. Easier said than done in many cases, but it’s important nevertheless.

Have Fun. Go out and enjoy yourself, laugh and have fun, go to parties and cheer yourself up. While you are having fun, and even after, you will notice how most problems will diminish in size.

All of these steps can go some way to reducing the stress levels in your life, which in turn should go some way to addressing any stress related hair loss problems that you may be experiencing. Once again, hair loss purely from stress is a rare occurrence but it’s not unknown. What is more common however is hair loss that is accelerated and exacerbated by unnecessary stress levels. Do what you can to reduce yours.
